Local Area
The house is situated in the picturesque village of 'Raduil' only 15 mins to the best ski resort in Bulgaria - Borovets with its numerous shops, nightlife, restaurants, entertainment and of course snowsports in the winter and hiking in the summer.
There is a river running through the village with tavernas and restaurants serving excellent food and drink in the centre square.
The cost of food and drink in the village and surrounding areas is extremely reasonable!
A Taverna in Raduil Lake Iska
Bulgaria is fantastic in the summer! the picture above is taken from the balcony of a restaurant in 'Raduil' and the right- hand picture is of lake Iska which is around a 30min drive from the village and has watersports and fishing along with restaurants and bars surrounding it.
The area is renown for its natural spas, hiking, hunting, fishing and mountain biking in the summer.
Throughout the summer various celebrations and events are held with the 'Bulgaria Rally' driving through Raduil in July.
There is an outdoor swimming pool at the local hotel (10mins drive) available for use at a very small charge and other swimming pools in the nearby town of Samakov - be sure to check out the most amazing ice creams for around 30 pence each there.
